Adding a subscription

You must create a function replication definition before you can subscribe to the function replication definition. You create the function replication definition for a stored procedure under the primary database of the stored procedure. You can subscribe to the function replication definition under the replicate database for the stored procedure.

Use the Add New Subscription dialog box to create a new subscription for the selected stored procedures. The Add New Subscription dialog box displays these tabs:

General – view and edit general information about the subscription.
Where Clause – create a qualifier for the subscription. For example, create a SQL statement to limit the subscription to a specific range of records.

In the left pane, navigate to Stored Procedures under the replicate database.
Select a stored procedure and expand the stored procedure directory.
In the right pane, double-click Add Subscription.
Fill the General and Where Clause tabs.
Click OK.
