Support for three-tier replication environments

In a three-tier replication environment, Replication Manager communicates with Replication Monitoring Services (RMS). The RMS layer monitors the replication environment. Use the three-tier solution to manage complex replication environments.

The three-tier domain includes:

Tier one – Replication Manager.
Tier two – RMS, the server to which you can connect using Replication Manager or ISQL (Interactive SQL).
Tier three – Replication servers and other objects in the replication environment.
