If you have LOB datatypes defined in your Replication Server environment, you can manage LOB datatypes in Replication Manager. Select the appropriate LOB datatype in the Create Replication Definition dialog box.
Selecting the LOB data type in Replication Manager
In the Create Replication Definition dialog box, select the new LOB datatypes. Select the user-defined datatypes for these LOBs from the Replication Definition Datatype and the Published Datatype lists.
Replication Manager 15.1 and later support replication definitions for LOB datatypes of varchar(max), nvarchar(max), and varbinary(max). However, you cannot modify columns that contain any of these three data types as primary keys or searchable columns.
Altering existing table replication definitions
In the left pane of the object tree, double-click the table to expand its directory.
In the left pane, select Table Replication Definitions.
In the right pane, right-click an existing table replication definition.
Select Properties. The Table Replication Definition Properties dialog box opens, displaying the current settings for that table replication definition.
Edit the information on the dialog box, following the same steps for creating a replication definition in the previous procedure.
Click OK.
