Logical and physical views

Replication Manager displays logical and physical views of the replication environment.

To see the logical view, select the database objects in the left pane. Use the logical view to manage databases and all data-specific information such as connections, tables, replication definitions, subscriptions, and so on.

The physical view displays servers. Use the physical view to manage information specific to Replication Server, such as users and connections. To see the physical view, double-click a Replication Server object.
