Connecting to a replication environment

Connecting to a two-tier replication environment

Select Tools | Connect.
If multiple plug-ins are installed, select Replication Manager from the drop-down list.
In the Connect to a Replication Domain dialog box, select Environment (two-tier).
Enter the user name and password for connecting to the replication environment.
Select the replication environment.
Click OK.

If the connection is successful, an environment icon appears in the Sybase Central main window in the left pane.

You can maintain multiple replication environment connections simultaneously.

Connecting to a three-tier replication environment (RMS domain)

Select Tools | Connect.
If multiple plug-ins are installed, select Replication Manager.
In the Connect to a Replication Domain dialog box, select RMS Server (three-tier).
Enter the user name and password for connecting to the replication environment.
Select the server or click Options and enter the server details manually if the server is not in the interfaces or sql.ini file.
Click OK.

If the connection is successful, a Replication Monitoring Services icon appears in the Sybase Central main window in the left pane.

You can maintain multiple replication environment connections simultaneously.
