Creating a bidirectional replication environment

Use the Configure Replication wizard to define an environment where data is updated at multiple locations and replicated to each site. The Configure Replication wizard is available only in the two-tier environment.

NoteConflict resolution is the responsibility of the site. Sybase does not provide automatic conflict resolution.

  2. In the right pane, double-click Configure Replication.

  3. On the Configure Replication wizard, select Create a Bidirectional Replication Environment. Click Next.

  9. Specify how replicated tables will be materialized. Select:

  10. If you chose Define Subscription for Bulk Materialization in the previous step, click Use Dump Marker in Transaction Log to use dump and load coordination. Click Next.

For more information about subscription materialization, see the Replication Server Administration Guide Volume 1.
